Hi! I'm Barbara, the artist behind all the work you see on this website.

 And, a drawing I did from my experience visiting the Statue of Liberty with my family.  It was a chilly, breezy day and it occurred to me we look like "immigrants" which is the name of the piece.  Graphite on paper.

Sunfluer's Jewelry Designs is a home based artisan business.  I'm a self taught artist referred in the field as an "outsider" artist.  I enjoy creating meaningful inspirational adornments for body and soul.  The jewelry collection I offer is original, limited edition and one of a kind designs. The design work is crafted with the discerning customer in mind who prefer to make their own personal fashion statement that reflects their personality.

I'm always searching the internet and bead shows for  materials of high quality, unusual gemstones, glass beads and components found off the beatened path complimenting my artistic style and interests.

I'm proud to say I was the first to launch designs especially for the adoption community in 2003.  The interest in adoption jewelry reflects from my personal experiences as an adoptive parent of two great kids.  My daughter was born in China and my son in the U.S.

I reside in the lovely, picturesque Hudson Valley in New York State with my husband, two children and two goofy Labs.
